The campus, with an area of about 1200 acres is located in scenic rural surroundings on the western bank of the old Brahmaputra River, 5 km south from Mymensingh Railway Station and 120 km north from Dhaka, the capital city of Bangladesh. It also houses two national research institutes, namely, Bangladesh Institute of Nuclear Agriculture (BINA) and Bangladesh Fisheries Research Institute (BFRI).

Site & Location: The University campus is situated on the western side of the old Brahmaputra river covering an area of 1200 acres, 3 kilometers away south of Mymensingh town.

Extension: There are 40 Associations of Mymensinghsadar with 3 Associations of Trishal and Gouripurupazila where agricultural extension and village development activities are being carried out by the (BAUEC) Besides, Vegetables Cultivation Schemes are going on 10 Primary schools, High schools, Madrashas& Orphanages under Mymensinghsadar, Trishal, Gouripur, and PhulpurThanas. 48 ideal houses have been selected to introduce Farm Management in Agricultural Development. As many as 10,185 farmers have so far attended 36 training programs arranged by BAUEC.
Training: Graduate Training Institute (GTI) offered pre-service and in-service training courses including international training programs & workshops. A total of 23,855 people were trained including foundation training of University teachers & Officer.
Extra-Curricular Activities:
Co-Curricular and socio-cultural programs are being conducted at Teacher-Student Centre &ShilpacharyaZainul Abedin Auditorium under the guidance of the Students Affairs Division.
Different games and sports are being conducted by the Department of Physical Education.
Activities of Central Students' Union (BAUCSU) are taken care of by this division and
This division also supervises various co-curricular & extra-curricular activities of different Hall Students' Unions, Rover Scouts, and BNCC.
